I was googling after I posted and found similar info. This bird seems to be between a nestling and fledgling. It's pretty fully feathered (except

around its face), but it really can barely move. I've seen it shake its wings a couple of times but it can't hop at all. It's basically in exactly the same spot it was 2 hours ago when I first spotted it. I do think the parents are there watching over it (I see them hanging around), but I don't know how to deal with this with the dogs. I would happily leave it out there to see if it gets stronger, but my dogs will sit at the window and bark for hours when they see it or if we don't let them out.
