That 400m Mixed swimming IM is weird how the teams set-up from a pure gender strength issue.

the world record for the men ranges from 4.91 seconds (freestyle) to 7.25 (butterfly) with the other two being in the 5.53-5.73 gap range.

Unless you have a terrible men's butterfly swimmer or a terrible women's freestyler, why you'd put a woman in the butterfly leg.

At best in the world, they're farther behind in that leg than the others.
