My project manager took me into a private meeting space and told me I was required to leave, and he also said, if we wait, security will send two big guys with kevlar to escort you out, you don't deserve to have eyes on you like that. He escorted me out. I had to turn in my badges on the spot. Because I had to turn in my badges, I technically couldn't get on the shuttle bus to the parking lot. It's about half a mile, I have severe arthritis in my right hip and I can't do it. The bus driver knew me, he got it.
Why is it half a mile? because it's a spy agency, it's REQUIRED to have standoff distance from any road.
