I think Blinken is doing a good job and is still young, it could be a shrewd move for Pete to do a few years as Deputy Sec. State and then take over.

Related to this it would be nice if the next gen of politicians set an example and peace out around 70 years old so we don't find ourselves in a situation like this again. The Dems have a deep enough to get these folks elected when they are in their prime
