So if Trump wants to dump Vance he has to do it today because Ohio or what happens?

Could it be Trump/Vance in Ohio and Trump/SomeoneElse in the other states with later deadlines? So Trump would still be the presidential candidate. If Trump won the electoral college, it's likely no VP would get a majority so the VP vote would go to Congress?
