“Two-time silver medallist on her Olympic debut at Tokyo 2020 (400m, 4x400m mixed relay), becoming the first woman from the Dominican Republic to win an individual Olympic medal in athletics.
Two-time world champion (400m in 2023, 4x400m mixed relay in 2022), silver medallist in the 400m in 2022.
Four-time 2023 Pan American Games medallist, including 200m gold.
In 2023 she created a foundation called Creando Sonrisa Eterna that aims to provide support and resources to orphaned and impoverished children in her country. “I experienced what it is like not having a father, and I have seen what orphaned children experience.”
