Why is there so much fvcking sodium in EVERYTHING???
It's basically in the lowest BP range you can have and be considered "high" but "at my age" something to be aware of. So trying to adjust my diet and be more sodium conscious then check again in a few month. But there's so much sodium in EVERYTHING!!!

My brother! I’ve never consumed too much salt, but my desire stress over everything eventually caught up with me. -- nm

Just don’t add anymore—throw your salt shaker away and just roll with the whatever salt content food has…even if it’s none -- nm

Heh to IM. I realized that I snack on way more salty than sweet so that kind of sucked

OK. you do NOT need to watch sodium unless you have a genetic predisposition to it.

If you normally salt your meat (dry brine, rub etc) use some mustard which has 100mg per t-spoon but you spread it thin and it adds flavor too

I've not used salt on my food for years, and buy very little prepared food, and I still have elevated BP.

Do you salt food on your plate with a shaker? If so, try potassium chloride. -- nm

Salt makes things taste better so they add it to everything. Best of luck as you cut back on it! -- nm
