If you normally salt your meat (dry brine, rub etc) use some mustard which has 100mg per t-spoon but you spread it thin and it adds flavor too

no really, bon Appetit recommended it.
for chicken marinate it with some yogurt, greek style is best as the biomes in it effect the meat like the salt does, its what they do in india. ie tandori
india curries, esp the mix your own, are normally salt free, only premade mixes and restaurants add salt.
