In response to "This week I was diagnosed with high blood pressure and have a question if anybody knows...." by Cuzzin Todd

Heh to IM. I realized that I snack on way more salty than sweet so that kind of sucked

I already didn't use most condiments so I couldn't cut back on those.

Got lucky that I eat more rice than brad but again that's something else that most people kind of get as a freebie for diet modifcation

Cook your own food, spices instead of salt.

I'm so lazy that I went the tuna / salmon sashimi (no soy sauce, just wasabi) and brown rice route ;-). No cook, just slice

More realistically Trade Joes has a no salt marinara and that's a huge improvement over nearly every prepared sauce

There's no salt chips. Again Trader Joes Tortilla Chip as well as there's a no salt Kettle brand variant

If you're going to eat out, uh, eat at restaurants that prepare their food from scratch and have them leave off sauces. Steakhouses are really good for this and on the other side of the spectrum, order plain (no sauce, no rub) wings at places like BWW

And may e once a month, I'll browse the forzen food section to see if there's some miracle advancement there for actual low sodium but it still just remians ice cream. Ice cream qualifies as an actual low sodium food. Kind of lousy on other mgerics but still
