It's a calculation... I can share my sheet on how I get to my picks. Bet Stringbad has something similar.

Betting odds combined with multiplier, then you look through the handful of athletes from those smaller counties with high score potential. You'll usually find someone that's coming in incredibly dominant and barring anything weird, is an almost certainty to metal.
I like the regions, it would be easier to just picks 5, so had to choose a few higher metal count countries as a balance.
