If anything, I might have too many recommendations.

Cafe Landwer at University and Adelaide for breakfast.

Richmond Station at Richmond & Yonge for an upscale dinner. Bar at Alo is another option, though it would be tough to get a table.

There are a lot of upscale food courts these days. Assembly Chef's Hall has Grandma Loves you, which makes good sandwiches. The Well has Rosie's, which makes decent smashburgers, though I haven't been to any other places there.

Pai on Duncan St for Thai

Elm St Deli on Elm near Yonge for Italian subs

Forno Cultura for Italian foccacia and desserts - multiple locations.

Wurst for beer hall - at Union Station and in King St West

A lot of good places around the Queen-Ossington area, especially for pho.

I went to Matty's Pattys this weekend which was good - it tastes like a more flavourful Big Mac without being salty and greasy and it costs $20.

Let mw know if you have any specific interests - I can come up with plenty of Chinese, Indian, Japanese, Middle Eastern etc options.

The best place in St Lawrence Market is Buster's Seafood Cove, which would not compare to what you have in Halifax. The peameal bacon sandwich is allegedly iconic, but it's really dry. St Lawrence is better for things like cheese and flavoured mustards than getting something quick to eat.

The Kensington Market area is better for quick food - Gus Tacos, Tacos 101, and Seven Lives all do tacos. The Suya Spot for Nigerian satay. Rasta Pasta does Jamaican-Italian fusion. There's a good spice store there too.

Museums are AGO and ROM. Both are good, but not great.

I haven't been to the Toronto Islands in ~15 years. The only eating option at the time was a Pizza Pizza, but it burned down and I think there may be some better options now.

I'm free on Tuesday and would be good to meet up.
