Quick Saviors Tour review. Green Day, The Smashing Pumpkins, Rancid, The Linda Lindas.

The Linda Lindas-A. I'd heard of them but little, if any, of the music. Very solid rock songs with great energy and decent playing. I was even more impressed later when I learned their ages.

Rancid-C. Same familiarity as LLs. Seemed kind of generic. They were ok but would be better in a smaller, indoor venue.

The Smashing Pumpkins-B. Was really looking forward to this set and wasn't disappointed. Seven piece group could have been tighter but the core of Corgan, Chamberlin, Iha looked and sounded great. Packed a nice set list into an hour. Would have loved another 30 minutes.

Green Day-A+. My 3rd time seeing them and easily the best they've been. Set list I Dookie and American Idiot in entirety along with 4-5 singles before, between, after the track by track performances of those albums.
Playing was top notch, especially Tre Cool who had been disappointing seeing him previously.
The video was maybe the best I've seen ever. Lighting and sound also great.
Billie Joe is the ultimate entertainer and his energy pulled everything together for the 2:30 set.
