I always buy a donation extra chip so I’m at a table with 7 others (2800 chips) - I have 3800 to start.
2 hours in, I’m at 7,000 and no one else has 3,000.
I get kings, raise to 800 and get 4 callers. I end up losing to Queen 2 offsuit.
Next hand, I get Ace-Ace. I’m a bit steaming so I just go all in for 6000. I get 2 callers. KT off and 10-5 suited. Sure enough, board runs to a flush for both but the middle-stack of the 3 has the bigger flush so he takes it all. I’m tilting.
The old lady starts to divvy the pot and somehow reaches into my stack to pay off both people, not just the biggest all-in. Like, go sit down Bernice. By that point, I’m steam coming out of ears mad. Director had to come over and set her straight as she was trying to double-count me.
Go on break, take 10 minutes to vent…come back, first hand Ace-ace again. All-in again. Get called with 9-3 for all my chips. Flop is 9-3-Q. Oh fuck off. Luckily for me another queen hit so I won but I came damn close to losing KK-AA-AA in back to back to back hands to Q2o, KTo, and 93o.
