In response to "You're much better about this than I am. I try to watch it to an extent, but I have a really hard time cutting stuff out completely." by pmb

Dude, it suuuuuuucks. And I am the opposite of disciplined. So, this has been a drastic change.

I just don't want to make Kim a widow. When I think about it in those terms, it makes everything kinda simple to do.

I feel guilty saying all this because I'm about to have my first and only cheat meal of the week. It's a pork chop and tater tots.

Historically, if a kitchen messes up an order, I'm just like, "Oh, that's fine! You'll do better next time."

Right now, it feels like the world crushing me if my cheat meal isn't good. A few weeks ago when Deadpool & Wolverine came out, I'd planned ahead so that I could have popcorn. Then, the line was too long. We would have missed the movie. I was sulky about that for five days. It's the little losses that weigh on you the most in these situations.
