So yea that was pretty epic of an Alien flick.

So many callbacks to almost every single movie 'before it', just so great. And also, the director has to have been a BIG fan of the Alien: Isolation game.

If I had ONE gripe. and its a minor gripe, I would rather have had a new actor (an iconic actor) play that part of the half-android, and NOT have used AI to recreate Ian Holm. I think that was a slight misstep.

I have to believe that part was written for Fassbender in mind though and it just never happened.

Question for anyone who has seen?

In the very beginning, was that the wreckage of the Nostromo, where they picked up the Alien-Cocoon?
