I know it’s inevitable to miss a lost loved one whenever hearing good news about a comparable stranger, but many days I still ache at my kids who are gone. The events I longed for while they were here, that now are just could-have-been things.
But I love hearing the good things, the happy steps or occasions, and feel that vicarious joy of happiness.
Seriously, hurray for you!
