I heard on a pod that part of getting people to vote -- esp in groundbreaking elections -- is convincing them to give themselves permission to vote
|
for the person. like slightly racist people who aligned with obama had to give themselves permission to vote for obama, misgynsitic voters had to give themselves permission to vote for a woman.
anyway, some dude on the pod said "being the second of anything to run gives the candidate a 3% advantage over the first of anything to run because voters have already given themselves that permission." so kam has an advantage over hills and in theory over obama because she is second.
this is interesting to me.
