Poor kid has been miserable for weeks. Ultrasound never turned up any stones but the fancier scan (HIDA) did indicate hyperactivity in the organ causing many similar symptoms. Stones were probably just a matter of time.

Brother had his removed last year, so clearly it's all his genetic fault.
