It helped me pick up some vocab but I found the complete lack of explanation of anything frustrating.

I'm one of those weirdos who likes the grammar lessons because it helps me understand how to use the words I'm learning.
Instead, you just get sample sentences with no clarification how to get from A to B.
In a language like Japanese where the sentence structure is completely different from English, this is a huge deficit.
