direct action generally stops being a means to create awareness and is targeted at the people who are refusing to engage in discussion or change.

burning down a building isn't for awareness, it's to throw a wrench into operations and harm a person/org financially.

direction action isn't something that i think anybody takes lightly - those women will probably face charges, job, and social issues as a result of something that is relatively harmless.
