Oh yeah, the Bradbury building is worth it but keep in mind it is in active use as offices last I checked (Grand Central Market across the street!)

I could go in and walk around when I went, but it was quiet as a mouse with the work spaces in operation.
Runyon Canyon comes to mind as a favorite. That's for an easy paved hike. It's a place that once you go, you start noticing it in a variety of different entertainments/commercials afterwards.
