And rightly or wrongly, she was perceived as a product of Bill. There hasn't been that time to do that on Kamala, and while they've tried the side piece attack, that doesn't work when people don't know whose coattails she supposedly rid in (and sure that happens a lot for Peeler who get rejected to AG and Senator *eyeroll*). The second time around with that attack, you're just an asshole.
