i posted the Medicare drug price announcement, b/c my dad is on several of those and the prices are indeed a brutal monthly expense, and got "interesting timing" when i pointed out to her that the lower prices don't kick in until 2026.

further noting that they would have passed it sooner but for Joe Manchin being a messy bitch about his holdout vote.

no comment when i also pointed out their Medicare out of pocket drug costs will be capped at $2000 annually starting next year, which should help a lot as well. i guess that doesn't count as DO SOMETHING NOW though
