The Indiana Pacers are set to be shown on Bally Sports Indiana in 2024-25.
In court filings from a Chapter 11 bankruptcy case, Diamond Sports Group − Bally Sports Regional Networks parent company − has agreed to change contract terms with 22 pro sports teams, 13 NBA and nine NHL.
Last month, Diamond Sports delayed a hearing to approve its Chapter 11 exit plan, but it announced a contract renewal with Comcast a few days later.
In a statement, Diamond said it had made significant progress with teams shown on Bally Sports, including the Pacers.
In a news release, the NBA said: "We have reached a new agreement with Diamond Sports Group for the 2024-25 season in which Diamond RSNs will telecast local games for 13 NBA teams."
Specifics of the deal are sealed, but it's believed teams will receive less in rights fees to make sure their games will be shown on a Bally Sports network. Diamond Sports has through the end of the coming seasons to emerge from Chapter 11, or contracts could be terminated.
