Intel NUC are a very solid (albeit pricier) mini PC. I absconded with an old one from work we were retiring to use as a replacement for my RPI for HA. EDIT: I also have two in use at home -- (edited)

I'm afraid I'm not gonna be of much help then, I have a Mac mini used as a HTPC, connected to my TV. Unless you want to go Mac I don't see the point
