In response to "I'm sure you probably have thoughts on today's developments in BC -- nm" by Beryllium

Politics comes at you fast nowadays. What is most interesting is what lesson do federal Liberals draw from it?

The BC Liberals had four back-to-back majorities, ending narrowly in 2017. Seven years later: *poof*

BC United crashed because it had no "natural" constituency. No floor.

There's less risk of "complete collapse" for the federal Liberals, but it's also not not at risk of implosion following a rough defeat in the next election. There is no Justin Trudeau (with all the name carried) waiting in the wings to pick it up again. They were third party in 2011. They have to be thinking about that.
