I mean - wanting the best for your friend is never wrong. And saying to her, "I want you to be happy and I'll always support you, but I really would like you to look into therapy" is not a being a horrible friend.

It's a huge change and really an entire new world she's entering - one which you have a lifetime of experience in. And having a professional to talk to during this change - sure, it may not help - but it certainly wouldn't hurt.
