This needs some context. A student-led group has been doing tours that emphasized Jefferson’s ties to slavery.

A conservative group of alum want to sweep it under the rug. UVa is suspending the tours - although it begs the question whether they have the authority - because of some b.s. excuses and totally absolutely not because of the Jefferson and slavery stuff (*nudge* *nudge*).
