Seriously. Getting out of the office for lunch is often essential for people's mental well being.

When I worked in the hospital I'd just sit on bench nearby and read. It really helped to get the chaos of the day out of my head for a bit and to put me in a better place to finish out the day.
Draining every last ounce of work out of employees is a great way to get them to resent and despise you. No amount of amenities can replace the outside world and being somewhere other than work.
