For a brief moment Wizards of the Coast set Magic right once more with Bloomburrow, a high fantasy but everyone is an animal set.

But alas, we're back to top-down themes that are way outside the norms with Duskmourn, a set that's influenced hard by 70s and 80s horror movies.
This is after a very off-kilter set that was based in fan-favorite world Ravnica, only everyone was a detective because Hasbro also owns Clue. There was also the cowboy/western themed Outlaws of Thunder Junction.
In 2025, for some reason there is going to be some kind of Deathrace set as well as something hinted as Magic In Space. As if the space and carnival themed Unfinity wasn't a loser in the first place.
While I'm very much Old Man Yelling At Cloud here, especially so because I haven't actively played a game of Magic in over a year, it continues to be extremely dismaying to see what they've done to my boy.
