Trying to figure out whether/how to bring this up with my brother who is currently dealing with serious medical issues.

He's a total MAGA Trump worshipper, but he is my brother. We just don't ever talk politics because there is no point.
As far as I know he's never had health insurance. As of recently he's been dealing with serious medical issues. He tried to self treat for months, but eventually the pain was too much and he went to a clinic with a definite pre-existing condition.
They got him signed up for insurance and I think eventually Medicaid as I'm sure he qualifies. He's still in the midst of treatment that's involved a two week hospital stay and three surgeries. Part of me wants to point out that he should be thanking Obama, but the brotherly part of me is just glad he's getting the treatment he needs.
I don't think he would ditch his insurance and stop his treatment just to avoid having to admit that he's benefiting from an Obama policy, but there's a non-zero chance he would.
