I'd agree if there weren't so many different things supporting the Rs. For me, the big thing is that old people vote and young people don't.

Mud and PMB are right. Pixie has a troubling factoid about young voters. And I did find it odd that apparently gazillions of young people needed Taylor fricking Swift for them to say "Oh yeah, duh, maybe I should register to vote sometime this decade."
