I've bought some shoes online. Always Converse (which is a Nike brand). But if I need sneakers or hiking shoes, I'll go to Kohls or Big 5.

Since ordinary folks don't have time to be up to date on which companies own which, I'd be careful about assuming all Nike and all Converse are molded
