I *love* the King Charles Spaniel. They're beyond cute and have such a loving and sweet personality. They're lap dogs and a perfect size for an apt.

They're very popular here and the first dog I ever walked was a King Charles Spaniel named Mr. Darcy. I loved that dog so much and it made me fall in love with the breed. I always try and stop to say hi to one when I see them.
Boxers drool way too much for me. Not a fan of drooling dogs. And yeah, a Great Dane is too large for most apartments. I do know someone in Manhattan with one in a 2bd room and I think it's too small for the dog.
