a decade ago we had a thanksgiving massacre as a guy shot 4 cops in a coffee shop, two held return fire because of innocents behind the shooter

he had walked up to them sitting around a table with their laptops... executed one, the 2nd, the other two finally reacted but held fire so they wouldn't shoot other patrons, there was a big struggle and both were killed.
the shooter was the son of a neighbor I found out later. the guy was facing ELWOP for several felonies involving child molesting and some other shit (while spouting evangelical bullshit)
