Close to zero pushback from kids. They can have them on their person, but they have to be off during class time. It helps that the admin is fully on board and taking the load off teachers in this - we have no latitude and send kids down on sight of one, and they were willing to deal with any of the pushback. 1st incident is a warning, 2nd is a suspension, then escalating suspensions. I've only had to send two kids down so far. I thought there would be chaos but count me as a convert.

There were some small educational things that kids were using them for which we've had to adapt a bit, but the trade-off is worth it and we have other tech in the classroom.
