I have very mixed feelings about this, but I think the key is this statement:

The files are “basically an [opposition] dump, and not a very good oppo dump at that,” said a journalist who has seen the material. “There’s not a single allegation that you couldn’t find with one click [on the internet]. It’s not good work. Honestly, it’s just not very interesting.”

I generally think that publishing stolen information is not something that should be encouraged (and maybe some lessons were learned from 2016), though I know if Fox got similar info on the Dems they would publish in a second. But if it is going to be published it should really be something critically important. This sounds like it's just the same old stuff we've heard before.
