That being said, I don't really necessarily advocate that others follow suit. Just like my strong disapproval of Twitter and Amazon.

I don't boycott Chick-Fil-A in spite of the plethora of grievances against them. I don't go there often. So little that I've lost my loyalty status even! But they're not a no-go.
Starbucks is probably another example. Many many many people boycott that company. But I see my visiting as support for the local baristas which I tip generously and adore seeing. Especially since quite a number of them are LGBT and the company does pay for transition surgery if one is able to get on their health care. (Which is another subject altogether not exclusive to Starbucks.)
