I've of a mixed mind on this one. I think there ARE plenty of people that went direct to southwest.com and booked out of habit and because....

...they were of the mindset 'Southwest is cheaper' so they didn't comparison shop.
And I think Southwest has worked so hard for years to keep their fares OFF of the other sites (to the points of suing other sites) because Southwest knows they often are NOT cheaper and don't want to burst that bubble.
On the flip side, SO many people today search on these third party sites to find the flight they are going to book. Southwest was 100% missing out on some of that.
How does it net out? Positive or negative? Not sure.
