Commercials are just a parade of celebrity endorsements.

Took me a moment, but I finally recognized Shane Gillis in that Bud Light commercial.
Dolph Lundgren in a Draft Kings ad.
We know about Jamie Foxx doing the BetMGM ads.
"Dani Rojas" in the State Farm commercial (Mahomes is almost window dressing at this point).
I suppose J.J. Watt in a Paramount+ ad for football on the streamer makes sense.
Deion Sanders for KFC.
It takes sense why advertisers try to create "characters" for their ads (Dr. Rick, Jake from State Farm, Flo <<< All of these are insurance spokespeople). They've got to be cheaper than celebrities. But when that fails, back up the truck full of cash!
Some of these ads are entertaining (I especially like Dolph), but does that convince me to buy a product? I suppose it's about brand recognition. I'm "aware" State Farm is an insurer, so they'll be top of mind if I'm thinking about switching.
