STIS: I am pretty sure the answer is No, but I am asking you Smarties here on ST.

My UV air purifier in my air conditioning unit will not protect us from chlorine in the air, right?

They are warning us here in Fulton County from the big fire a few days ago

However, starting Wednesday night, wind patterns may shift, possibly bringing smoke and airborne chlorine to our area through Sunday. Expect haze and a chlorine smell, especially in the mornings.

Important tips: • Limit outdoor activities and stay indoors if possible. • Keep windows and doors closed. • Those with heart or lung conditions should be extra cautious and follow their health care provider's advice.
