In response to "How you get double? Raw is 500mil a year, Smackdown is 250mil …so this is like 1-4th of WWE’s current rights. -- nm" by Will Hunting

I was only referencing Raw, which was a reported $500 million but probably lower since WWE always lies up. AEW is pacing for $215-$220 million.

The WWE deal also has several outs and is one-sided toward Netflix. WWE is still making a lot more money, but AEW doubling its largest contract would rival, if not surpass, WWE’s biggest deal. I don’t view that as a realistic expectation. This is already a rookie having a 50-homer season. There’s no need to say they have to double it as a purely arbitrary number. They could live comfortably at this level for a decade as they long as they spend reasonably.

Either way, Kevin Owens made a lot of money this week as the first major free agent in the aftermath of this.
