What I've read is Hochul told him to clean house. He hasn't really done that as of yet. If Hochul wants to win back some NYC voters she should remove

him from office. She's looked very weak as a politician since she's taken office and right now isn't looking much better than Adams in the polls. She has very low standing in NYC but removing Adams might give her a boost.
