livable that's a hefty profit over the $96,000 we paid for it in 1981 ;)
I really do need to get working on it.

real estate here is bananas. my place has probably gone up by 10%/year since we bought it. interest rate cuts probably mean that's going up more. -- nm

The Assessor sent us a postcard saying our property is valued at 515.... we paid 115 for it 25 years ago and that seemed a bit high then.
