Tornadoes tend to do very localized damage, smaller ones do little damage. Fort Myers is not supposed to take a direct hit from Milton.

Where in Fort Myers would you be going? Some of the beachfront places may deal with storm surge, but I don't think Fort Myers is going to be effectively shut down like it was after Ian, unless this swings significantly further south (not expected)
