I used to be on a couple focus group call lists in San Fran, get paid 50 to 200 or so to look at ads, talk about the product.

most of the time they just wanted to know if we started using the phrase or adopting the attitude they were trying to market.
my favorite was when they had me put on a head set where they would track my eye balls to see what I looked at first when they showed an ad.... I knew what was coming but damn I looked right at the boobs
