3 parts water to 1 part vinegar in the horrifying caked on stir fry eggs/veggies/noodles pan, maybe 1/8th to 1/4 full. Heat to boiling, then turn off the stove.

Pour in a tablespoon or 2 of baking powder. It bubbles, but quickly stops, after a few more minutes, poured the liquid out in the sink, wiped the lifted food stuff off of the pan bottom, and *pow* clean and shiny.

- We have some barkeeper’s friend to clean the glass stovetop. I often just use the sharpened paring knife to clean the glass surface. -- nm - landbeck Oct 13, 16:04
