The group former pitcher Dave Stewart is part of would absolutely go to Nashville. A better option would be part-owner Mellody Hobson taking control

if she's interested.
I think Jerry has realized he's not going to get state money for another new ballpark (the state already owns the current), and there's issues with a TV outlet for next season.
Hobson (the spouse of George Lucas and a VERY successful business person) seems to be a fan of the game and is loyal to Chicago, but it's unknown if she wants to take on the headaches being a managing partner would bring or, if there's other partners who would invest or, if she'd be happy to cash out.
