In fact, we wanted to vote today. When we drove to the polling precinct, it was a bit jarring to see Trump 2024 signs because that was a first for me this year.

There's plenty of reason to believe the media wants the polls close. Similarly, there's plenty of reason to notice excitement factors favoring one candidate. Then, we have the ground game stories being covered by political sites that paint a clear picture. And we have one party already focusing on lawsuits as if the matter is decided.

Anything can happen, but I don't view Rex's perception as baseless. I nodded in reading it, as that's my perception as well. But he and I could both be suffering from confirmation biases. After 2016, I never speak in absolutes anymore.
