I don't think (and I could be wrong) that the pollsters are involved with that desire though. Sure there are some pollsters who are more trustworthy and reliable than others, but overall the polls are quite close both nationally and at the state level in the swing states.

Is the media salivating over that fact? Sure! But I don't think the pollsters are in cahoots with the media to provide that narrative.

Doesn't mean I'm right though.
